Clinical Medicine is published six times a year and circulated to 20,000 Fellows and Collegiate Members. The journal is read by physicians both established and in training in hospitals across the world. It features a wide range of articles including original research, professional issues, clinical guidance, medical humanities, ethics and clinical governance.
The journal also publishes the key features from the College lectures and conferences. Each issue has a continuing medical education section which reviews the latest advances in a chosen specialty. All the medical specialties are reviewed in a three-year cycle.
The full text of the journal is available free online to Fellows and Collegiate Members for 12 months.

Clinical Medicine received a special mention at the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers Awards 2007 in the best learned journal category. The judges noted that the journal 'offers a wealth of information to the clinician in a clear and easily accessible way'.
