Supporting 40,000+ members, RCP at The Spine offers a northern hub for local members and fellows, conveniently placed to accommodate doctors across the North, Midlands and beyond.
With a dedicated member and fellows area on the first floor, members now have the opportunity to relax and network after attending conferences, events and workshops. The area boasts views of Liverpool, comfortable tables and seating for meetings, and quieter ‘pods’ for solo working and calls. There are also charging points, reading lamps and refreshments available meaning it’s the perfect space to recoup, recharge and catch-up on emails.
The ground floor café, The Base, offers hot and cold drinks, meals, snacks and barista style coffee. Discounts will be offered to all subscribing members and fellows.
Having two accessible sites for our members and fellows opens up so many opportunities – bridging the gap geographically for many who found travel to London difficult but also virtually, with advances in technology meaning The Spine has the facilities to make events accessible online to members, wherever they are in the country.
Located next to the Royal Liverpool Hospital, in the heart of Paddington village, it’s conveniently located, being just a 10-15 minute walk from Lime Street station (or 5 minutes in a taxi.)
“I have enjoyed working on the project to ensure the Spine will meet members’ and fellows’ needs. We know you want a welcoming place to meet, learn and participate in College activities. It is a beautiful building with state of the art technology; now it needs members and fellows to bring it to life!”
