Right to sit on committeesDepending on the terms of reference, fellows and many members have the right to sit on a variety of committees and boards to help the RCP conduct its business. There are also many other opportunities for you to get your voice heard. |

Right to hold RCP rolesFellows have the right to hold RCP roles, which includes specific RCP officer roles appointed by application and interview, as well as senior officer roles. Vacancies are advertised widely. |

Right to vote for councillors and officersFellows are able to stand for high office (president, vice president) and to take part in the elections. The 12 members of the RCP Council are directly elected by the whole fellowship. Also, any fellow can be nominated for the Council. |

Right to attend annual general meeting (AGM)The RCP holds a general meeting of fellows each year, to review and approve the RCP's work in the previous year and to agree important changes if necessary. |
