The development and delivery of high quality continuing professional education for doctors throughout their careeers is one of the main objectives of the College. To achieve this the College has been providing an extensive programme of medical and scientific conferences and courses for over 40 years. The goal of these events is to maintain and improve the standards of clinical care offered by physicians, and to help doctors be as well-prepared as possible when they face the work- and assessment-based challenges that are a part of the medical profession.
