Postgraduate medical education and training
The RCP wants to ensure that trainees undertake high standards of training to ensure high quality patient care. We work with our sister UK Colleges of Physicians in Edinburgh and Glasgow to set and maintain standards for physician specialist training in the UK, and and deliver training and examinations.
- Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB), including Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
- MRCP(UK) examination
- Specialty Certificate Examination and assessments
- Diploma in Geriatric Medicine
- Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene
- Recruitment to core medical training (CMT)
- Recruitment to third year specialty training (ST3)
