The climate emergency is of significant interest to clinicians: from respiratory diseases to access to clean water, global warming is negatively affecting the health of people around the world. Ahead of the COP26 conference in Glasgow, this webinar jointly held by the Royal College of Physicians, the BMJ and the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change, will lay out the scale of the problem and consider how clinicians can individually and collectively take action on climate change. It will be an opportunity to understand what the NHS is doing to reduce its own carbon emissions, and the role of clinicians in avoiding the health emergency that will come out of climate change if we do nothing.
