RCP Update in medicine conferences are held across the UK and are delivered by the RCP regional team. These events are designed to provide high-quality education for those with an interest in medicine, allowing attendees to stay abreast of clinical advancements in medicine, develop professional skills and network with colleagues.
These one-day conferences also include an open forum with the RCP president, Dr Sarah Clarke and several senior officers.
Join us on Thursday 11 May 2023 in Cambridge.

Poster competition
The RCP Eastern regional team are delighted to be hosting a trainee poster competition at this Update in medicine. Please note that the competition is now closed for abstract submissions and shortlised candidates will be notified by the 29 March 2023.
The venue
The conference will take place at Hinxton Hall conference centre, which is part of the Wellcome Genome Campus.
Unfortunately, parking at Hinxton Hall conference centre can be limited and is allocated on a first come, first served basis. Where possible we would request you seek alternative travel arrangements, for instance, car sharing with any colleagues in attendance, or using the free shuttle bus from Whittlesford Parkway train station which is 10-minutes away (timetable can be downloaded below).
When booking your place at this conference it would be helpful if you could please indicate whether you will require the shuttle service or a car parking place. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a space but we are working closely with the venue to ensure your journey to the conference site is as easy as possible.
