Working with the NHS Confederation, College of Emergency Medicine and Society for Acute Medicine, the RCP is considering the challenges faced by urgent and emergency care services.
We want to identify barriers to the provision of effective urgent and emergency care and discuss solutions to address them.

The Future Hospital Commission aims to address the growing concerns about the standards of care currently seen in hospitals and to make recommendations to provide patients with the safe, high-quality, sustainable care that they deserve. We are keen to hear comments and suggestions from patients, members of the health workforce, other experts and the public to help guide our thinking and inform our final recommendations.
