Each month the Library of the Heritage Centre will feature one of the many important historical books within the collection, providing a fascinating insight into the intellectual interests of the College and its Fellows across more than five centuries, since the birth of printing in Europe.

The hand-coloured wood-cut illustration of the pomegranate in his world-famous 16th century Herball.  Gerard was the planstman of the College, and the 'pomegranate' features on our coat of arms.
