This Royal College of Physicians want to provide information to International Medical Graduates who are thinking about coming to the UK to work or train. The RCP wishes to ensure that IMGs are able to make an informed decision about this as it can be extremely difficult to find employment and obtain the correct immigration status, even after meeting the General Medical Council’s registration requirements. Most queries in relation to the RCPs work are answered by looking on the RCP website or the website of the Joint Royal Colleges’ of Physicians Training Board(JRCPTB), or the MRCP(UK)website. Any query not covered on these websites should be put in writing with specific questions and relevant information to the appropriate department.
