This summer, we’re inviting children and young people to take part in our Sketch The Spine competition!
As we move into our new northern home in Liverpool, we wanted to celebrate the building’s amazing design.
Pick up your art supplies and have a go at drawing our new building. Then send a scan or photo of your sketch to sketchthespine@rcp.ac.uk.
Your picture will then be in with a chance to be displayed at The Spine’s first exhibition. The winners, runners up, and their families will be invited to the exhibition, where the artwork will be showcased. Other prizes include an iPad and vouchers for art and design apps, plus drawing packs for you and your school.
Entries close Monday 20 September, and winners will be announced in October.

How to enter
Draw a picture of The Spine on A3 or A4 paper using pens, paper, paints or any other materials.
Scan or take a picture on a phone and email to sketchthespine@rcp.ac.uk stating the artist’s name, age, school and where in the UK they live.
The shortlisted entries will be invited to an exhibition event at The Spine on Monday 20 December. Please note that the RCP will not be able to cover any travel or accommodation costs occurred for this event.
