The RCP believes in the importance of fostering medical professionalism and leadership, with doctors empowered to take on a greater role of health-service management within a motivated and committed workforce and demonstrating these qualities within healthcare teams.
We believe the importance of preserving training opportunities requires full recognition, as does the necessity of an adequate and readily available training budget.
The RCP will support Fellows and Members during the introduction of revalidation. We believe revalidation is a process that supports excellence in physicians and consequently the highest quality of care for their patients.
