We are committed to ensuring that current employees comply with this Act regarding the confidentiality of any personal data held by the RCP, in whatever medium.
In accordance with the 1998 Act, the RCP:
- Must maintain records on your eligibility as a member or fellow, in order to provide you with products, services and information on RCP activities
- Will disclose personal details to a supplier, in order for you to take advantage of any discounts on products and services offered by the RCP’s partners
- Will only release your information in accordance with your mailing preferences
- Does not sell your details to any third parties.
As such, we may use your information to notify you about our activities and services. When using external mailing companies for large-scale mailings, we will only use companies where the data is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act and is not held beyond the period necessary to fulfil the mailing or used for any other purpose other than that identified by the RCP.
