The majority of the books published in the last hundred years are available for loan to full library members and medical student and foundation doctor members. Members of the public are welcome to use our library facilities on a reference-only basis.

The period of time that books may be borrowed for depends on which collection they are in and the loan privileges of the user, typically either seven-day or four-week loan periods.
