Multi-source feedback (MSF) is a key requirement for revalidation. The RCP has developed and validated colleague and patient questionnaires, which are being used widely across different specialties in many trusts, and which meet the criteria specified by the GMC for use in revalidation. 

The RCP’s colleague and patient questionnaires are now available electronically through an independent provider, Equiniti 360° Clinical Ltd. Feedback is collected independently and anonymously and returned to a nominated third party, who will facilitate a discussion with the professional about the feedback report. To ensure reliability and to comply with the recommendations of the GMC we advise that this system is used, rather than simply carrying out a ‘paper-based’ exercise.
