The RCP educational consultancy works with medical organisations - both in the UK and internationally - to help find the most effective solutions to a range of challenging educational and training issues which the modern medical profession face. We are then able to use our expertise to implement solutions and produce tailored programmes for our partners.

We have supported a number of different organisations, ranging from deaneries and teaching hospitals to specialty boards and universities, offering a range of services from advisory through to undertaking major curriculum design and development work.

Using our extensive knowledge and experience, we have devised, developed, piloted and implemented the methods we use and we are actively involved with institutions that use our solutions and systems on a daily basis.

With a wide-range of knowledge and experience we've been able to help our partners in these ways by:

  • putting in place an assessment system to satisfy the regulator that standards are being achieved
  • Advising on a pragmatic and workable approach to managing trainees who are in difficulty
  • Designing, developing and implementing a new postgraduate curriculum
  • Developing a skilled teaching faculty that will provide more effective training to trainees.

Case studies

The examples of organisations we have already worked with illustrate how we are able to offer tailored solutions to help with their particular training needs and how, ultimately, we have helped them towards a common goal of achieving a higher standard of patient care.
