Did you know there is a long history of legacy giving at the RCP? Bequests have funded a wide range of activities including bursaries, awards and education programmes.
The RCP’s first president, Thomas Linacre, bequeathed his home to the College in 1524 and thus became the RCP’s first legacy donor. 500 years later we continue to value our legacy donors and rely on their foresight and generosity. Leaving a legacy gift will support physicians in the future to provide better healthcare for patients.
It would be very much appreciated if you would let the Development Office know of your intention to leave a legacy gift to the RCP.
Letting us know your intentions means that we can respond to your wishes and it assists us in our long-term planning. Please be assured that letting us know does not commit you in any way.
Those who have informed us of their intention will be invited to an annual lunch at the RCP as our way of recognising your ongoing commitment and will be listed in our annual honour roll unless you let us know you would rather be anonymous.
Please contact the Development Office.
