Chiraag has recently been promoted to lead the Human Resources Department (HR) to deliver a complete HR service through a business partnering approach. 

The department supports the work of the Treasurer by recruiting, engaging, rewarding, nurturing, developing, retaining and promoting the wellbeing of a talented workforce.

Chiraag has worked in HR for over 20 years and held a range of roles delivering specialist functions such as recruitment, learning and development and leading on employee relations and policy development, with a strong public sector background. Since joining the RCP in 2015 he has worked collaboratively with the HR team to continuously improve the HR offering to the RCP. In recent years, RCP's organisational development has been bolstered by strong business partnership, and a focus on continuous improvement has enhanced HR's role in shaping the culture of the organisation.

Chiraag has a firm belief that a strong HR department that delivers service with integrity whilst managing risks and engaging employees is integral to organisational success.
