Dr Adrian Jennings is an elected member of Council at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP).
As a physician taking part in the acute take for more than 20 years, Dr Jennings played a leading role locally in developing specialist services and acute services. He has held several managerial roles including clinical director for medicine. He now works part-time for the trust.
Dr Jennings has been closely involved in education and training both in King’s Lynn and at a regional level. He worked as an associate postgraduate dean for 5 years, introducing foundation training in the region. He led the introduction of the first fully funded deanery-wide preparation for professional practice programme for foundation trainees in the UK. He chaired the regional diabetes and endocrinology training committee for 8 years.
He has acted as a regional adviser for the RCP for 8 years and has been an RCP censor for 2 years, and is also an experienced PACES examiner.
