Dr Akbar Chaudhry M.R.C.P

Dr Chaudhry graduated from the University of Punjab in 1969 and then came to the UK.

He has been appointed in numerous fellowship roles, served as an advisor to the WHO, and is a member of the IHR roster of experts in acute respiratory syndrome and influenza.

Akbar has an interest in medical education and improvement, has been involved in multiple research projects, and has been published extensively. Dr Chaudhry was awarded the president gold medals in 1999 and 2002 and has been on the International advisory board of Kumar & Clark's clinical medicine from the 6th edition onwards.
