Dr Saraf is a director and consultant physician in internal medicine at Jupiter Hospital in India. Amit obtained his medical degree and a master's from the Grant Medical College in Mumbai.
He is a reviewer for the British Medical Journal and many national internal medicine journals. He is also an MRCP London examiner. Dr Saraf’s medical interests include the treatment of diabetes and hypertension, and he is an executive state member for the Research Society for the study of diabetes in India (RSSDI). A postgraduate teacher to medical students, Amit is also the Governing Council member of the National Association of Physicians of India – the largest professional body of physicians in the country.
