Dr Michael Davies

Trainees Committee representative – Merseyside

Mike was elected to represent the Mersey deanery in 2019 and is currently a gastroenterology registrar at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Orginally from Chester, Mike qualified in London then moved back to the Mersey deanery with his family. He has an interest in inflammatory bowel disease and clinically focused service improvement.

Mike has previously undertaken an academic post in medical education, worked as an RCP associate college tutor and is currently finishing his diploma in medical education.
