SFDN representative for the South West
Eva is a foundation year one doctor at Bristol Royal Infirmary.
Eva has a strong interest in global maternal health and clinical academia. She graduated with a distinction in medicine and an intercalated BSc in clinical sciences. She currently works within multiple research groups, including the WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Women’s Health based in Birmingham.
Eva’s commitment to medical research and education, including efforts to address health inequalities, has been recognised internationally and through awards from national bodies such as Kidney Research UK and the British Pharmacological Society.
Through the RCP Student and Foundation Doctor Network, Eva is looking forward to promoting engagement between the RCP and the medical student and foundation doctor community. She hopes to inspire them to shape their individual professional journeys around their interests, with improved awareness of the opportunities and potential routes that exist, albeit unconventional!
