International adviser – Lebanon
Currently professor of clinical medicine and head of rheumatology, at the Faculty of Medicine and Medical Centre of the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
As ex-president of the Lebanese Society of Rheumatology, his major research interests include the study of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), biologic therapies in rheumatic diseases, and the clinical characteristics of rheumatic diseases in Lebanon.
To date, Imad has written over 170 publications on varying aspects of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), and the rheumatic diseases for leading international rheumatology journals.
