International adviser – Kenya
Dr James Jowi studied for his medical degree in Nairobi in 1981, before going on to gain a master's in internal medicine in 1987.
A practicing neurologist, Dr Jowi was chief medical specialist and neurologist at Kenyatta national hospital for 12 years and, chairman/associate professor at Maseno university, Kenya for five years.
Currently, James is vice president and chair of the examinations and assessment committee at the East, Central, Southern Africa College of Physicians and has written numerous papers in relation to neurological disorders.
