Executive director of HR
Linda is director of the Human Resources department.
Linda leads the Human Resources Department (HR) to deliver a complete HR service through a business partnering approach. The department supports the work of the Treasurer by recruiting, engaging, rewarding, nurturing, developing, retaining and promoting the wellbeing of a talented workforce.
Linda has worked in HR for over 25 years and held a range of roles delivering specialist functions such as recruitment, learning and development - including training delivery and facilitation - as well as generalist roles at organisations including GAP, NatWest Bank and the National Audit Office. Since joining the RCP in 2004 she has been at the centre of developing an organisation that puts people at the heart of service delivery to its membership and wide range of stakeholders. In recent years, RCP's organisational development has been bolstered by strong business partnership, and a focus on continuous improvement has enhanced HR's role in shaping the culture of the organisation.
Linda has a firm belief that a strong HR department that delivers service with integrity whilst managing risks and engaging employees is integral to organisational success. She has a BA Hons in Business Studies, a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management and is a member of the CIPD.
