Lynne Quinney

Patient and Carer Network member

Lynne joined the Patient and Carer Network (PCN) in November 2014, attracted by the opportunity to contribute to the RCP’s work improving services for patients and their carers. She has over 20 years’ experience as a learning and development professional.

Lynne is the PCN member on the Education Board and the Clinical Genetics SAC. She has recently become a member of the newly formed Integrated Care Working Group of the PCN. After initially working in staff management with a major retailer Lynne spent the majority of her career in the NHS and university sectors.

She is a trained workplace mediator and combines her mediation practice with providing high quality personal, team and organisational development interventions, and is a qualified user of the Myers Briggs Type Inventory, the Aston Team Performance Inventory and the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework.

Since June 2015 Lynne has been the PCN link with the Future Hospital development site Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and although now retired, is a trustee of a small mental health charity.
