RCP travelling bursaries in endocrinology and diabetes mellitus

Travelling bursaries for trainees in endocrinology and diabetes mellitus to attend the RCP acute and general medicine conference on Monday 22 October 2018.

The bursaries are awarded to trainees wishing to attend the RCP acute and general medicine conference on Monday 22 October 2018. These applications will be reviewed by the academic vice president.

They can cover conference registration fees, standard/economy class travel and one night's accommodation (if necessary). Up to five awards will be made throughout the year, funds permitting.

Dr Ramila Rabindra bursary in endocrinology

In addition to the four bursaries funded by the RCP, we are pleased to annouce the inclusion of the Dr Ramila Rabindra bursary in endocrinology, which offers the same opportunity for endocrinology trainees to have their conference registration fees, economy travel and one night's accommodation to be reimbursed.

The Dr Ramila Rabindra bursary in endocrinology is given in memory of Dr Rabindra, MRCP, a specialist registrar ST3 in endocrinology. This bursary commemorates her joy and passion for medicine and the job she loved, allowing other endocrinology trainees the opportunity to further their knowledge and reward them for their hard work and passion in a career that Ramila would have pursued.

Eligibility

Only trainees in endocrinology and diabetes mellitus are eligible.
