This conference features a variety of talks relating to conditions encounted on the acute take and equips all delegates with the necessary knowledge to develop their skill set.

Programme

Topics will include:

  • demystifying delirium
  • HIV and the skin
  • acute asthma: what have we learned?
  • clinical cases in infection: presentations post-travel
  • heart failure
  • caring for trans people
  • diagnosis and management of giant cell arteritis
  • Parkinson's disease.

Topics are subject to change.

Who is it for 

Featuring a variety of talks relating to conditions encountered on the acute take, this 1-day conference is suitable for doctors working in all medical specialties and at all levels of the profession: consultant physicians, SAS doctors and trainees.

Registration

Registration will take place at the Liverpool Medical Institution from 9am and finish at 4.30pm. The conference is registered for 6 CPD credits.
