Adapting to life after COVID-19: lessons learned during a pandemic

From virtual outpatient clinics to a new focus on staff wellbeing, we must use this opportunity to embed new ways of working into the way the NHS cares for its patients and staff. Yet the last 12 months have put immense strain on the health and care workforce. Thousands of clinicians and care workers are exhausted; some will be close to burnout. How has life changed in the past year?  And how can we find opportunities in the ‘new normal’?
