Curated by the RCP academic vice president, the Advanced Medicine programme will explore areas of medicine experiencing the most change and innovation, delivered by eminent speakers in their field. You’ll hear the latest advances in medicine from up to 22 hours of clinical education that will support you in your practice.

Programme highlights

  • pregnancy, obesity and long term conditions
  • what is new in stroke?
  • rheumatoid arthritis – ensuring everyone gets the best treatment
  • what is new in vaccines?
  • device therapy in heart failure
  • acute kidney injury
  • neurological infections

Lady Estelle Wolfson lecture in translational medicine

We are pleased to announce the Lady Estelle Wolfson lecture in translational medicine as an addition to our named lectures series. Apply now to deliver this lecture at the Advanced Medicine conference in February 2017.

The appointment of the lecture is by application, and applications should present an outstanding, recent contribution in translational research/medicine with demonstrable benefit to patients. This contribution can be in any branch of medicine.

The appointed lecturer will receive an honorarium of £200 and will be invited to attend a dinner at the RCP after the lecture.
