This 1-day training course at Wrexham Maelor Hospital is for those soon to be carrying the medical registrar on call bleep and those already carrying the bleep who would like an update.
The day will include a mixture of lectures and breakout workshop sessions and topics will include:
- cardiac emergencies
- neurology including thrombolysis
- running a cardiac arrest
- cardiac pacing
- difficult phone calls
- managing a team
- referral to ITU.
This event is aimed at CMTs, however, medical registrars in need of an update and any budding medical registrars are more than welcome.
