We will explore models for giving feedback, as well as using video clips to critique different approaches to giving feedback and using scenario-based activities to practise some of the key skills involved in giving effective feedback.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to

• describe how feedback can lead to effective learning
• describe good practice in giving effective feedback
• help trainees to accept and act upon constructive feedback
• use an effective feedback model.
