Expectations of healthcare have never been higher. This conference delivers practical outputs to optimise education and training in the service environment.

These are times of great challenges and changes in healthcare. Healthcare organisations are facing increasing demands, not least from an ageing multi-comorbid patient population. Expectations of healthcare have never been higher.

The workforce must adapt to meet the challenges of the present and the future. Implementation of the Shape of Training report is currently being considered. Whatever happens, the tension between education, training and service will continue to be an issue.

The theme of this conference is practical measures to optimise education and training in the clinical environment. It features three nationally renowned keynote speakers and six workshops, which aim to provide attendees with practical outputs which will help them to improve the delivery of education and training in the busy service environment.
