IQAS & QPIDS Training Day

The IQAS and QPIDS accreditation schemes are holding a joint How to Prepare for Accreditation training day, designed to support registered services that are in the early stages of their journey towards accreditation.

The training day provides further information on the accreditation scheme, helps delegates understand the standards and evidence requirements, and equips delegates with the knowledge on how to pass the assessment first time.

The morning session will cover the process and how to begin working towards the standards. The afternoon will involve two break-out sessions which will look at the standards in closer detail. The day will provide a networking opportunity for services.

Due to demand, we are limiting delegates to one person per service. If you would like an additional staff member to attend, they can be added to a waiting list and if any places become available we will contact you 3 weeks in advance of the day. Please register the first delegate online here and for additional delegates please email askqpids@rcplondon.ac.uk to be added to the shortlist.

As this event is paid for by the QPIDS and IQAS annual fee, only services registered with the scheme may attend. CPD points are being applied for through the Royal College of Physicians.

Registration will close on Friday 15 March 2019.

Practical considerations

Lunch and refreshments are included. Delegates do not need to bring anything to the day, as all training materials will be provided. It is strongly recommended that delegates familiarise themselves with the standards prior to the day. Please let us know if there are any dietary or accessibility requirements.

Cancellation policy

There has been a lot of interest in this day, so if you are unable to make the training day please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.

Any last-minute cancellations may affect your ability to attend a different training day.
