Irish GRS launch and training day - Dublin

The Joint Advisory Group (JAG) on gastrointestinal endoscopy is holding an Irish GRS launch and training day on two consecutive days in Dublin. Irish services should only attend one of these dates.

This 1-day event has been specifically designed to meet Irish endoscopy services who are new to the GRS and would like to know how to achieve the new standards which are being launched in June 2018. This exciting workshop will equip you with the knowledge that you will need to update and improve your GRS. You will leave the day better equipped to achieve sustainable GRS service improvements.

This will be an interactive event involving group work and attendees will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the day.

Training objectives

By the end of the training participants will be able to consider and understand:

  • the GRS improvement pathway
  • key challenges in achieving the standards and how to overcome them
  • how to maximise effort to achieve service improvement plans
  • the team's role in maximising the potential of the GRS.

Registration

Please note that these dates will be free for Irish services to attend as this event has been funded by the health service executive (HSE). Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. The day will run from 9am to 3.30pm.
