The How to Prepare for Accreditation training day has been designed to support services that are in the early stages of their journey towards accreditation.
The training day provides further information on the accreditation scheme, help delegates understand the standards and evidence requirements and equip delegates with the knowledge on how to pass the assessment first time.
The morning session will cover the process and how to begin working towards the standards. The afternoon will involve break-out sessions and will look closer at the standards. The day will provide a networking opportunity for services.
In order to ensure that delegates get the most out of the training day, we are opening up registration for the day to more than one delegate from a service. Services can register for a maximum of three delegates who are working on the IQILS project within the Trust. Each will have to register individually. Services are encouraged to bring subsequent delegates in order to ensure that persons from all aspects of the service have a solid understanding of the requirements for accreditation.
As this event is paid for by the IQILS annual fee, only services registered with the scheme may attend. CPD points are being applied for through the Royal College of Physicians.
Lunch and refreshments are included. Delegates do not need to bring anything to the day, as all training materials will be provided. It is strongly recommended that delegates familiarise themselves with the standards prior to the day. Please let us know if any dietary or accessibility requirements.
There has been a lot of interest in this day, so if you are unable to make the training day, please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.
Any last minute cancellations may affect your ability to attend a different training day.
