The New Consultants Forum will take place on Friday 10 May 2019 at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This new meeting will provide practical help and support for new consultants, and will include a session from the BMA on 'the consultant contract and job planning'.
There will also be an overview of the RCP Chief Registrar Scheme.
The programme has been developed by the RCP's new consultants committee representative for the Eastern region - Dr Malcolm Lawson.
The event is free to attend for RCP members and will attract 3 CPD credits. Registration and buffet lunch is from 12.30pm, with the session starting at 1.10pm and concluding at 4.30pm.
Who should attend
New consultants in their first five years of being in post and StRs in their final year of training. Attendance is welcome from outside of the Eastern region.
