Photography and gown information
We have made arrangements for a photography firm, Tempest Graduation Photography, to be present at the RCP (2.30pm-4.30pm) on the afternoon of your fellowship admission ceremony. Payments are made to them at the time and the contractual arrangement is between yourself and Tempest.
It will not be possible to be photographed with your actual diploma before the ceremony, but a substitute will be available to be held for any photographs. During the ceremony Tempest takes a photograph of each new fellow receiving their diploma from the president and this can be purchased after the ceremony at 6pm.
Tempest photography also provides a gowning service. New fellows may hire gowns to be worn during the ceremony or for the official photography but it is not compulsory. The hire cost is £45. The gowns can be booked online – http://www.tempest-graduations.co.uk and the pre booking will be open three weeks prior to the ceremony date. However, you do not have to pre book as they can be hired on the day at no extra cost.
If hiring a gown, they must be returned after the ceremony and not worn to the dinner.
You may also purchase the gown which has been designed only for fellows of the RCP.
