The 2018 Quincentennial Society outing will be to Bletchley Park. Once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers, which is now a vibrant heritage attraction.
The programme is listed below and will contain a private tour with guides which includes the Colossus galleries, the museum and the history of the computer.
11.30am - Meet at Bletchley Park (meeting point tbc)
(Bletchley station is a five minute walk from Bletchley park and runs regular services from London Euston, South Croydon and Birmingham New Street
Alternatively there is a car park
12 noon to 1.30pm – Tour of the Colossus galleries and the museum
1.30pm – Sandwich buffet lunch
Costs are as follows:
Concessions (over 60) £20.00 including a buffet lunch
Non concessions £22.50 including a buffet lunch
