RCP Wales New Consultants forum

The RCP Cymru Wales New Consultants Forum has been created to provide local support for physicians in the early years of consultant appointment and final year speciality trainees by offering expert speakers and group discussion around topics relevant to their roles.

Speakers will draw on their own experience, offering inspiration and advice for those at, or nearing, the start of their consultant career. The programme is being developed by the RCP’s New Consultants Committee representative for the Wales region and it is hoped to include:-

—- Complaints and coroner’s – what you actually want to know!

- How to set up a new service

- Top tips for the new consultant

- Open panel discussion

Who should attend

This event is for consultants who are in their first 5 years in post, and senior specialty registrars (ST6 and ST7) who are working in Wales or the Severn region.

Buffet lunch will be provided
