The Fracture Liaison Service Database (FLS-DB) user workshops were held in May 2017 and featured presentations given by clinical leads and Crown Informatics to provide users with guidance on using the FLS web tool.
Jonathan Roberts from Crown Informatics provided guidance on using the data entry web tool. Clinical lead Clare Cockill from Yeovil Hospital explained how FLS was implemented at their hospital, and the challenges that they overcame. University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust also explained the 'dos and don'ts' of submitting data to the FLS-DB.
In his presentation on the new and advanced features of the FLS-DB web tool, Jonathan Roberts covered areas including:
