Help us develop our strategy for 2021-24

The RCP is developing its strategy for 2021-24 and wants everyone who has a stake in its future to help by responding to a survey.

We are proud to be a membership organisation with over 37,000 members in the UK and abroad. The RCP has achieved a lot over the 5 years of our current strategy, from welcoming the Faculty of Physicians Associates into our membership, to growing our profile in media and Parliament, and commencing work on our northern base in Liverpool to enhance our regional engagement with members.

Now it is time to set our direction for the next 4 years. We want to understand how our members, partners, stakeholders and interested individuals view us and what they think our priorities should be.

The survey is open until 5pm on Sunday 16 February 2020 and takes only 5–10 minutes to complete. It will provide you with more information about the vision, mission and strategic priorities before asking for your opinion, comments and suggestions.

After the survey closes, the senior officer and executive team will review the findings and discuss what needs revising. We will present a draft to the RCP Council and Board of Trustees, and then develop strategic plans for each of the 4 years. Our plan is to publish the strategy in autumn 2020, ready for implementation from 1 January 2021.
