Inaugural RCP TV broadcast to feature at Medicine 2017 annual conference

We are excited to announce that RCP TV will debut at Medicine 2017: RCP annual conference in Manchester on 16–17 March 2017. RCP TV will bring a different element to the conference using video, and will engage speakers and delegates in important issues facing the NHS and the physicians and other healthcare professionals who work within it.

RCP TV is a partnership between the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and international film and broadcasting company WebsEdge. During the conference, a daily programme will be produced, featuring two elements:

  • Conference news: Filming on-site at the conference, RCP TV will capture interviews, session highlights, and attendees’ insights and reactions during Medicine 2017.
  • In-depth reports: 5-minute documentary style films from universities and hospitals, looking to highlight training and clinical programmes, as well as cutting-edge research.

At the conference, you will be able to watch RCP TV on screens around the Manchester Central venue, in selected delegate hotels on dedicated TV channels, and on digital and social media platforms. Visit WebsEdge to see first-hand the different elements of Conference TV.

In the lead-up to Medicine 2017, WebsEdge will be reaching out to organisations to discuss the opportunity of producing a film about their work, to be included in RCP TV 2017.

Only a limited number of organisations will be able to feature in RCP TV 2017. If you are interested in learning more about the in-depth reports, please contact Sally Nelson: sally@websedge.com.
