Representatives from the RCP Quality Improvement (RCPQI) project are today presenting at CleanMed Europe 2018's 'Sustainability in healthcare education and CPD' session, taking place in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
The RCP will today, alongside the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and European groups representing patients, researchers and the healthcare industry, attend the launch of The Value of Health: Improving Outcomes multi-stakeholder initiative report at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The RCP is pleased to welcome the election of new European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) president, Mr Freek Spinnewijn from the European Federation of National Homeless Associations, as well as the appointment of RCP’s European engagement advisor Paul Belcher as strategic advisor to the new EPHA president.
The RCP was invited to attend a roundtable meeting in the European Parliament earlier this month to discuss challenges and opportunities for the recognition of cancer nursing in Europe. This formed part of events to celebrate European Cancer Nursing Day on Friday 18 May.
