Day 2 of the RCP annual conference concluded with a plenary session on COVID-19 vaccines by Dr Greg Poland, Mary Lowell Leary emeritus professor of medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA, and editor-in-chief of the journal Vaccine.
Opening day 2 of Medicine 2021, RCP academic vice president Cheng-Hock Toh chaired a discussion with guests Sir Michael Marmot, Dame Donna Kinnair, Dame Jane Dacre, William van’t Hoff and Stephen Holgate.
On day 1 of the Medicine 2021 conference, Baroness Dido Harding, interim chair of the new National Institute for Health Protection, spoke about the next phase for the NHS Test and Trace service.
