RCP Launchpad brings together information, tips and guidance into one resource to help new consultants and SAS doctors grow into excellent educators, trainers and autonomous medical practitioners.
Developed by the RCP New Consultants Committee, deputy registrar and Linacre fellow, the new resource highlights the key things that new consultants and SAS doctors need to know and includes first-person perspectives as experts share their experiences.
Members will find content on topics such as applying for and starting a new job, what to focus on in the first 12 months within a role and further career development. The resource also covers what to do to prepare for appraisal, how to deal with complaints, information on senior and leadership opportunities and much more.
RCP Launchpad will be updated over time as additional resources, toolkits, videos and more become available. This membership benefit is hosted on the RCP website and is exclusive to RCP members, after logging in. Members and fellows who would like to access RCP Launchpad but have forgotten their password should contact MembershipQueries@rcp.ac.uk for help.
