RCP fellows and members receive New Year honours

Many fellows and members of the RCP were included in the Queen’s New Year honours, including several receiving well-deserved recognition for their COVID-19 work.

RCP president Professor Andrew Goddard said:

“Congratulations to all those who have been honoured for their contributions to the NHS, to public health, to medical education, to international health and more besides, including the response to the pandemic. These are difficult days for the NHS, as they are for the people it serves, and I take much cheer from being president of an organisation whose members and fellows contribute so much.”
