RCPQI at CleanMed Europe 2018

Representatives from the RCP Quality Improvement (RCPQI) project are today presenting at CleanMed Europe 2018's 'Sustainability in healthcare education and CPD' session, taking place in Nijmegen, Netherlands.   

RCPQI programme manager Aimee Protheroe and former RCP clinical fellow Jenny Isherwood will present ‘Practical change - Embedding sustainability into clinical quality improvement methodology’ at the event in Nijmegen, where they will be joined by a raft of speakers discussing sustainability in healthcare, including Bruno Bruins, minister for medical care; Rosemary Kumwenda, United Nations Development Programme regional team leader and Sustainable Procurement in the Health Sector coordinator; and Susan Wilburn, international sustainability director, Health Care Without Harm.  

The conference addresses the environmental impact of the healthcare sector on a local, regional and global level and is organised by Health Care Without Harm Europe and Radboud University Medical Center.
