Recruitment for Vice President, Global

The RCP is looking to recruit a new post holder into this position.

The vice president, Global is responsible for providing clinical leadership of the RCP’s international membership and activities. Interested candidates must have at least 5 years standing as an RCP fellow and will be expected to demonstrate interest and experience in healthcare delivery and/or the provision of medical education outside of the UK. A two-person job share is possible for this role.

The successful candidate(s) will usually be expected to spend some of their time travelling overseas and at events around the UK, acting as an ambassador for the RCP. While the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic means that limited overseas travel is expected over the coming 12-18 months, we believe this presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate(s) to consider new, innovative and more sustainable methods for the delivery of our global work programme. Creative approaches to ongoing engagement with, and the continued growth of our substantial international membership will be welcomed.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 30 June and shortlisted candidates are expected to be available for interview on 8 July between 9am and 11am. Please note that interviews will be conducted virtually with details provided to shortlisted candidates.
